I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were really friendly, and the location was perfect for me as it was close to the train station, making it easy for me to get around. The room was quiet, and the hot water and pressure in the shower were both excellent. I also appreciated having tea and coffee available in the room.
Everything was spot on.

Friendly, helpful host. Nice, comfortable room. Great shower/everything clean and tidy. Near to excellent rail and bus links and only a short walk to local restaurants and shops.
Food really over-priced. Assumption was made we wanted breakfast (continental with little choice) at €12 each and felt we had no option but to partake when told the bread had already been ordered in. Made sure we cancelled final day's breakfast early on the preceding day. 2 bowls of soup and 2 desserts plus one small beer = €43. Great place to stay, but don't eat in.

Comfortable with all that was required.
Non smoking room smelled of smoke - quickly resolved but a poor first impression.

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the availability of all the amenities needed. the hotel's convenient location made it easily accessible to the town center and the local attractions. Lastly, I appreciated the variety offered for breakfast, which included cereals, ham, and cheese.
The dated decor and style of the rooms which felt old-fashioned and uninviting. the thin walls between rooms made it difficult to sleep through the night, as I could hear noises from other guests.

nothing really, though that is a bit unfair. The owner was friendly and efficient, had a good place to put the bikes, and the rooms were clean and adequate, ours had a balcony.
The problem came with the evening meal and the breakfast, neither of which were much good and the final problem was the bill which seemed grossly excessive. No doubt we should have realised the extras - but the salad and quiche + small bottle of local red wine cost 125 euro with no choice at all and no offer of coffee or dessert, then when we asked for more teabags for the morning, he was reluctant to get us any and only got them when we insisted. He refused to give us tap water with our meal, saying that wasn't allowed in Luxembourg! The situation was well out of town, and the town is totally without merit anyway, so our reason for staying there was to avoid the cost of being in central Luxembourg - ironically our one night in Luxembourg was much cheaper at a much nicer and more accommodating hotel in a great part of the city.

Only the clean room (14) & quality of breakfast.
Very late check-in time (17.00hrs). What is worse, until 17.00hrs the hotel is fully locked up !! We arrived at 16.45 hrs and had to wait outside, in the cold ! The owner didn't show up until 17.15hrs to open the hotel, even getting angry that we didn't aprreciate having to wait outside until his arrival. Forntunately, at 17.05hrs a client came out to smoke a sigarette, so we could already enter the reception hall and warm up a bit. I have traveled the world during all my active life but never ever did I find anywhere in the world a locked entry door upon my arrival, certainly not so late in the afternoon already. Finally my wife and I joked about this unique experience, but such an unpleasant experience never again !

Located conveniently next to the train station, Hostellerie Val Fleuri offers easy access to transport. the quiet street is just outside the center of the village yet close to the local amenities. the rooms are comfortable and well-furnished with plenty of amenities. the friendly staff is happy to go above and beyond for their guests, and the delicious breakfast is a great way to start the day.
One thing to note is that the wifi signal is weak and unstable, which could be an issue for those who need a reliable internet connection.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a luxurious 4-star hotel here. The location of this place is just outside the center of the village, which provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere during my stay. The service here was impeccable, with room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and housekeeping all available. The shops/commercial services nearby made it convenient for any additional needs I had. I also appreciated the paid shuttle service and tours/ticket assistance, which made exploring the area hassle-free.

The breakfast had a decent selection and the chef was friendly. The hotel is located on a quiet street, which was nice for sleeping. It was also within walking distance of the town center and train station. The bed was comfortable and the room had a TV.
The room was outdated and in need of a renovation. The walls were thin and we could hear noise from other rooms.
